Service Flow

OEM and ODM appliance services organized as simple engineering rows.

Viking keeps the service model deliberately clear: define the platform, verify the data, pilot the build, lock the compliance package, and prepare channel launch evidence.

01

Platform scoping

Every program starts by mapping appliance category, target market, rated voltage, plug type, capacity range, annual forecast, carton constraints, brand label rules, and service expectations. The goal is to separate fixed engineering requirements from negotiable appearance options before sampling begins. That prevents late changes from moving into tooling, packaging, or compliance work without a written reason.

02

Engineering review

Viking reviews the control board, compressor or heater selection, motor type, water path, thermal path, door or lid mechanics, noise risk, safety interlocks, and expected duty cycle. For refrigerators, cooking appliances, dishwashers, and small kitchen products, the review records which data must be gathered during pilot builds and which values are only estimates until lab confirmation.

03

Pilot validation

Pilot units are checked against a practical validation matrix: cabinet fit, cycle consistency, leakage, thermal recovery, cooking uniformity, vibration, packaging protection, label placement, and user-facing assembly quality. Reports are written for sourcing teams, not only engineers, so importers can use them in retailer review meetings and internal launch approvals.

04

Compliance file preparation

The team prepares market-specific documentation for certification route planning, material declarations, label artwork, instruction sheet review, plug configuration, and carton marking. Viking does not present unverified performance claims as final certifications; instead, it identifies the test route, data owner, sample status, and remaining evidence required before market shipment.

05

Launch and service support

After approval, Viking aligns production checkpoints with spare-part mapping, serviceable component naming, packaging photo records, and buyer inspection criteria. The support package helps distributors answer warranty questions, e-commerce teams prepare listing data, and retail buyers compare the program against competing appliance offers with fewer unclear assumptions.
